Sustainability

Circular Economy

Sustainability is our mantra, and we tie all our activities to the principle of the Circular Economy. We are on an ancient settlement site, the Warft from the 12th century, and find many traces of how to live in ancient times as self-sufficient and closely in step with the cycle of nature.

We have already implemented many initiatives and have an ambitious plan to be CO2 neutral by 2027

We are proud that the complete renovation was done with sustainable, partly historical building materials. An old farm was "saved" and about 4 hectares of land were re-naturalized.

In the course of the renaturation, we planted over 400 willow rods, 120 trees, 200 shrubs and countless insect-friendly perennials until summer 2022. Not everything has been addressed right away but we are continually working to bring the new plants to life.

We do not need to discuss whether photosynthesis is more important than photovoltaics. By the beginning of 2023 we will have retrofitted all available areas with photovoltaics.

We are National Park Partners by conviction and design our daily routine from the offer to vegan weeks to the avoidance of packaging, very mindful.

Our two e-charging stations are powered by renewable energy, which we also want to generate ourselves soon. The application for a wind turbine has already been submitted.

For the catering of all teams, we pay attention to local products, and we buy mainly in the farm stores of our national park partners. This means that everything is always fresh, straight from the field and garden, and sharpens the senses even during lunch and dinner breaks.

How beautiful is now a summer morning in the garden where bees and insects have breakfast in our perennials....
